The Northern Alps, a winter paradise for families, are home to renowned resorts like Chamonix, Megève, and Courchevel, where mountain hotels rival each other in attractions for children. These establishments, located in majestic natural settings, offer tailor-made services for families. Like Chamonix, known for its spectacular panorama of Mont Blanc, the hotels offer spacious family rooms, menus adapted to young palates, and children’s clubs full of fun activities. In Morzine ( Haute-Savoie ) La Bergerie aims to offer both the comfort and services of a four-star hotel, and the independence of a “home” . 29 rooms and suites, 23 of which are equipped with kitchenettes, make up this large family chalet, labeled Famille Plus , and located at the foot of the slopes of the Portes du Soleil resort. After a morning of skiing, après-ski can be enjoyed aquatically in the establishment’s heated outdoor swimming pool. New winter 2023/2024 features at this 4-star: cozy sofas and a redevelopment of the bar to further enhance the conviviality of this family hotel.

The bonus: for VIPs (Very Important Offspring), La Bergerie concocts a dinner just for them at “La Table des enfants”, with homemade vegetable soup as a starter.

Price: room for 4 people from €330 per night (2 adults + 2 children). Children up to 11 years old stay free in their parents’ room.

The hotel’s indoor climbing wall, accessible free of charge 1800 ( Savoie ): 80 rooms including 70 family ones, designed like apartments. In the lobby there is a cable car for hiding or reading, and the climbing wall that children climb at their leisure before or after a games session in the dedicated room, or swimming in the indoor swimming pool to which they have access up to at 19 ‘o clock. In terms of catering, the full board option and the afternoon tea offer are popular. On the ski side: ski shop in the hotel, and location opposite the Charmettoger chairlift, serving two blue slopes and one red in the Les Arcs- Paradiski area (425 km of slopes).
